Full paper submission has been closed. However, there are still opportunities for authors to contribute to the conference. Due to the overwhelming interest in the short paper format, the conference will continue to solicit short/position papers (4 pages). The conference particularly encourages authors to present their ongoing research (academia) and development (industry). Authors of short papers will give brief oral presentations followed by poster sessions for interactive discussions. Best papers will be awarded in three categories: full, short, and student papers.

Please submit your papers at http://edas.info/N9829. Short papers should be 4 pages in length. Standard IEEE Transactions templates for Microsoft Word or LaTeX formats can be found at
http://www.ieee.org/web/publications/pubservices/confpub/AuthorTools/conferenceTemplates.html

Journal Special Issues (New!)

Authors of selected papers (both full and short papers) will be invited to submit an extended version of their contribution to the following journal special issues:
  1. IEEE Communications Magazine Special Issue on “Communications in Ubiquitous Healthcare” to be published in January 2012.
  2. Journal of eHealth Technology and Applications Special Issue on mHealth (authors should check mHealth special track for the submission)
  3. The International Journal on E-Health and Medical Communications.
  4. Telemedicine and e-Health Journal

CAMERA-READY PAPER SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS

In order for your paper to be in the conference proceedings and IEEE Xplore you need to complete these four steps:

1.  REVISE YOUR PAPERS: Please follow the reviewers' recommendations for revising your final paper. All papers have to follow the IEEE formatting requirements for Conference Proceedings.
2.  CAREFULLY PROOFREAD: When you are done with revising, please print out your paper and proofread it and make sure the paper meets the IEEE formatting requirements.

3. REGISTER FOR THE CONFERENCE WITH PAYMENT:
When you are done with the registration, you will be given a Registration Code, which will be needed to upload your paper to EDAS.
It is imperative that the same author must upload the paper(s), review, and approved PDFs, and submit copyright form. (Only one e-mail address can be identified to a registration code).
If you are registering by fax, please allow 3 working days to receive your Registration Code.
Please DO NOT share your registration confirmation code with anyone else.
Although the code enables submission of up to three papers, it can be used only once, by you, to create one author account for these submissions.
The organizers of IEEE HealthCom 2011, as well as our attendees, expect accepted papers to be presented at the conference. IEEE reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference (e.g., removal from IEEE Xplore) if the paper is not presented at the conference.
4. PAPER UPLOADING: Upload your camera-ready paper to EDAS using the EDAS paper upload form.
5. Approve your PDF file
6. Submit your copyright transfer

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR AUTHORS

PLEASE NOTE: To be published in the IEEE HEALTHCOM 2011 Conference Proceedings and IEEE Xplore®, an author of an accepted paper is required to register for the conference at the FULL (member or non-member) rate and present the paper at the conference. Non-refundable registration fees must be paid prior to uploading the final IEEE formatted, publication-ready version of the paper.  For authors with multiple accepted papers, one full registration is valid for up to 3 papers. Accepted papers will be published in the IEEE HEALTHCOM 2011 Conference Proceedings.  Accepted and presented papers will be published in the IEEE HEALTHCOM 2011 Conference Proceedings and in IEEE Xplore®.

It is important for all IEEE authors to recognize that plagiarism in any form, at any level, is unacceptable and is considered a serious breach of professional conduct, with potentially severe ethical and legal consequences.

The full paper is due on Friday, May 9, 2010 by midnight EST. Use the same EDAS account you used when submitting the first version.
